History;

Started out grappling in community halls on jigsaw mats in Maitland in 2009, but struggled to come across consistent training. Joined the Hyperfly team in 2014 after a successful stint at the Asian Open as a Blue Belt, where triangles and straight footlocks were often employed. Focus switched to MMA during purple belt, but after having an amateur fight spent 6 months living and competing across Brazil in 2017/18, and was awarded the rank of Brown Belt by Fabiano Victorino (Macaco Gold Team). Spent 18 months training with Brian Ebersole trying to learn how to wrestle, and ultimately this opened upthe path to being signed by ONE for their Warrior Series. The majority of time at present is spent at Grappling Education trying to keep pace with the young fellas out of there dominating the Aussie competition scene, but due to his terrible leglock game he may be a brown belt for life at this stage. Time will tell that tale…

Nov 2018 – Moved to 3-1 amateur MMA record after IMMAF/WAMMA Unified Amateur World MMA Champs (Bahrain)

Oct 2018 – Coffs Harbour Invitational III, Advanced Open No Gi Weight & Absolute – Double Gold

Sep 2018 – Moved to 2-0 amateur MMA record after Coastal Combat 4 (Coolum)

Jul 2018 – NSW State Championships, Adult Brown Super Heavy Weight Gi, No Gi and No Gi -  Triple Gold

Mar 2018 – IBJJF Sydney International Open, Adult Brown Belt No Gi Weight & Absolute -  Double Gold

Feb 2018 – UAEJJF South American Continental Pro, Adult Brown Heavyweight - Bronze

Jan 2018 – UAEJJF Brazil National Pro, Adult Brown Heavyweight - Silver
